One of the traditional grapes used in red Bordeaux blends, Malbec has characteristics that fall somewhere between Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It has a deep colour almost like inky blueberry, softer tannin, and a particular blackberry/plum. mocha, spicy character.
